Katrinka is a lifelong resident of Hyde Park, attending a local public grammar school and high school. She obtained her B.S. in Business Administration and immediately began her career with the U.S. Government. After 36 years of public service with U.S. Treasury Department, Office of the Comptroller of the Currency and Office of Thrift Supervision, in 2016 Katrinka retired as a National Bank Examiner and Federal Thrift Regulator. She served in various positions throughout her career, building a solid foundation of knowledge of and experience in the banking and regulatory industries. Her experience lends itself to a broad range of skills, including finance, project management, strategic planning, communications, leadership, recruiting, and training.
Katrinka and her husband raised their daughter in Hyde Park, too. Katrinka was always active in the schools her daughter attended, often serving in fundraising and leadership roles. Her hobbies include reading, traveling, cooking, and spending quality time with family and friends.
